The fun never ends. B-level Amritians had a memorable day as all of them joined back after a long year. Cracking jokes, sharing memories, they had enjoyed the meet at its maximum. The well organized function was held in Hotel Nyle Plaza in Vyttila, Erankulam on April 11th, Sunday.

The function was planned to start @ 11 AM… As study days we were late to reach. We only reached at sharp 11. (Me, Soumya and Harish) (nammal classil pandu late ayallae vararullu). 10.30 ayappolae oru call. “Eda nee evida njan evidae ethi”. As always Jk was always present. (classinu pokuna polae) When we reached there a person was standing with his wife, trying to call us. Kaiyodae pidichu.. Only I recognized him… Baki ellarum Va polichu ninnathae ullu. I introduced him “Jayasoorya”…..
We all cracked jokes as paras to one another and walked towards the Hall… Rajettan (Sreeraj) was waiting for us to scold us to be late.. Nalla alkara…. He told…! We went to the Hall. Parasparam parakalum thamasakalumayi 11.30 varae samayam poyi. Then we started the formal function @ 11.30. The self introduction was started by Hani.. Thudakkam muthal ellarum koodi avanae vadichu thudangi…. Avasanam thanae nirthi poyi.. we laughed and laughed .. it continued till Anoop introduced himself..
Then we announced the awards. The awards were
1. Congrats on winning the Filim critics Award - CILJO VIJAY
2. Still Handsome award - MAHESH
3. Still beautiful award - SOUMYA NB
4. Phoenix award who had most supplementary and made his career by fighting hard - SREERAJ
5. Most “roopamattom award” for change - RAJESH (JAYASOORYA)
6. Nostalgic award for sharing the best memories - JK (JAYAKRISHNAN)
Then each started sharing the memories. All had a lot but very little time.
I will try to recollect max memories shared here. Since JK got the Nostalgic award, I write here the stories which shared.
JK: He told about the boat story.” One day some functions were happening in AICT, we were going back to Ashram. I can’t recollect all… there were Ciljo, Mahesh, me, Jayasoorya etc”. The boat were there on the shore. No boat man. Mahesh told, that he knows sale it. We all got into the boat. The dog Kiser also. We were talking. Mahesh took the rod and started pushing it. But after normal time when we noticed, we found that the boat is not going to the right direction. We were heading towards the sea. When we watched, the Dog Kiser were walking from one end to the other end of the boat…. All of us were nervous. Jayasoorya and others were trying to control the boat. But it was going towards the sea.. Mr SAMBAN CHETTAN (Boat man) saw this from the other end. He took another boat and came to us and helped us to escape. The dog jumped out of the boat and ran to somewhere. Manoj swami was waiting for us on the shore, and soon Mahesh was awarded a suspension. I also want to tell another experience. (Ithu parayunnathinidakku Bakkiyullavarudae contributions undayirunnu ennu parayendathillallo). Then he told about his experience in ‘Kalamritam’, He was for the first time on the stage. There was a seen, that he fells. During the event he fall naturally. Everybody on stage and audience were stunned. I am very lucky that I got a lot of chance on stge. I don’t know, I think because of my dialogue delivery, I got most of the chances in MIME.. That was a very natural fall.” He shared memories of Arts festival and all..
Sreeraj shared warden achan’s search, and his experience on imitating warden achan. Also he told about “go and decorate the door” phrase from Soumya miss. He found warden achan himself in front of him. Gunden started sharing his experience with warden achan’s jokes. As he likes he started with food. He told the “Put is put no more put”, “understanding people will suffer”, etc etc. Jayasoorya also shared warden achan’s stories. Also when he came for admission, Manoj swamy asked for whom the admission is ? (he was bald at that time).Again he came back to SUNDAY BREAD and BUTTER stories.Rajesh shared the Hari swami, Manoj mathews episode. Soumya brought us to soumya Miss’s class and her strictness. She sang a song also. Raji shared the event of Hani’s love letter when she got when the ‘Hamsam’ gave it to her instead of Minuja. Shamju shared the ‘Tile episode’, also he shared the arts festival experience. Me (Mahesh) also shared the Dance episode (steps contributions by, Gund, Oduvil, tonykutty, Kallu) and Kallu’s mund episode, also his “same to you” , and English jokes of ours.
This is only 2-5 % of fun that we shared there. The event was really memorable. The instant wits were plenty.
